Jon Pardi to be Inducted into the Grand Ole Opry
Jon Pardi Joins the Grand Ole Opry Family
We have some exciting news to share with you today! Our very own Jon Pardi, the Multi-Platinum singer/songwriter/producer from Capitol Records Nashville, will officially become a member of the Grand Ole Opry on October 24. This is a huge honor for Jon, who has been a fan of the Opry since he was a kid growing up in California.
Jon's Opry invitation came as a surprise during his performance at the Stagecoach festival in April. His friend Guy Fieri, the Emmy Award-winning restauranteur, interrupted his set and directed him to watch a video on the big screen. There, Jon saw Alan Jackson, one of his musical heroes and an Opry member himself, asking him to join the Opry family. Jon was speechless and emotional as he accepted the invitation in front of thousands of cheering fans.
Jon is the first California native to be inducted into the Opry, and he brings a unique blend of traditional country and modern rock to the stage. He has released four albums and scored six No. 1 hits, including "Head Over Boots", "Dirt On My Boots", and "Heartache Medication". He has also won several awards, including the CMA New Artist of the Year in 2017 and the ACM Album of the Year in 2019.
We are so proud of Jon and his achievements, and we can't wait to see him perform at the Opry on October 24. He will join a legendary roster of country artists who have graced the Opry stage for over 90 years. Congratulations, Jon! You deserve this!
